This bar seems to work well for multiple hair types!
This goat milk soap has a wonderful fruity smell since it has Lime and Orange essential oils, as well as some coconut fragrance. Coconut oil is reported to seal the moisture into your hair. Olive oil seals and softens your hair. Castor oil is an anti-fungal and Avocado oil can add nutrients to your scalp and hair as well as improve hair growth. Kelp is rich in iron and potassium, so it can promote a healthy scalp and stronger hair. The salt in this shampoo bar is reported to not only exfoliate the scalp and absorb excess oil, but also to help texture and increase the volume of your hair. There are numerous sources claiming that salt can even help your hair grow faster. There are more free oils in this soap to balance the amount of salt and to help condition your hair.
***When using a homemade shampoo bar, it is important to note that it may take up to four weeks for your hair to adjust. Also, if this bar is not providing enough conditioner for your hair, I suggest using Argan oil or a natural conditioner. It only takes a small amount to moisturize and loosen any tangles; use as needed.
I would love to know what hair type you have and how this works for you. Please help me continue to improve my recipe. :)
